Mental Health Services

Our Mental Health services are designed to support individuals living with a mental illness, substance use disorder or a chronic illness.

Available programs

Clients who join our mental health programs will have access to our mental health clinic, an outpatient substance use treatment clinic, as well as other essential wellness services. We work with individuals from ages 6 years old and up to create person-centered treatment plans that will let them take the lead on their recovery journey.

Our OMH-licensed outpatient mental health clinic located at 390 Berry Street in Williamsburg is home to our care staff of certified mental health and medical professionals. Both adults and children who are 6 years old and above can take advantage of our services, which are offered in both English and Spanish.

Community-Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE)

BAC has been designated by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) to provide Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) services. If you’re 21 or older, you can build skills for getting and keeping a job, pursuing education, making new friends, connecting with your community, and living more independently.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

This specialized community-led care team is dedicated to serving individuals ages 18+ who have more severe and persistent mental health diagnoses (including Bipolar Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder, Chronic Major Depression and Schizophrenia) in order to help improve functionality.
